Invitation For Speakers and collaborations

 Our Women in Business and STEM Club warmly invites speakers and potential collaborators who share our passion for advancing diversity and empowerment in these fields. If you have valuable insights to share or are interested in collaborative endeavors, we wholeheartedly welcome your participation. Together, let’s create an environment that fosters knowledge sharing, inspiration, and community support.

1. Club Membership:
a. Membership is open to all CSUF students interested in business and STEM fields. b. To become a member, students must sign this form (rules and regulations)
2. Meeting Requirements:
a. Members are required to attend a minimum of 7 club meetings or events per semester. b. These 7 meetings must include: - 4 webinars or speaker events - 3 general in-person or virtual meetings. c. Members who fail to meet the attendance requirement will need to reapply for club membership the following semester.
3. Community Service:
a. The club may organize community service events throughout the year. b. Members are encouraged to participate in at least one community service event per semester if available.
4. Code of Conduct:
a. Members are expected to treat each other, club officers, and guest speakers with respect and courtesy. b. Members should actively engage in discussions and collaborate positively during club activities. c. Disruptive or disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated and may result in disciplinary action. The disciplinary actions may include being banned from the club, removal for the semester, suspension for a semester, or suspension from specific events. However, it's important to note that these are examples, and the actual disciplinary actions may vary based on the circumstances. Additional measures may be taken after a thorough review of the situation to ensure an appropriate response, which may include but is not limited to the mentioned actions.
5. Communication:
a. Members must stay informed about club activities by regularly checking club communication channels (e.g., emails, club website, social media or discord ). b. All official club announcements will be sent through the club's established communication channels. (e.g., discord, email or instagram)
6. Leadership Opportunities:
a. Members are encouraged to take leadership roles within the club when opportunities arise. b. Elections for club officers and leadership positions will be held annually.
7. Privacy Policy:
a. By joining the Women in Business and STEM Club, you acknowledge and consent to the collection and use of your personal information for club-related purposes only. b. Your privacy is important to us, and we will not share your personal information with third parties without your explicit consent. c. You may request information about the data we hold and request corrections, updates, or deletions as needed.
8. Photography and Social Media:
a. The club may take photographs during club events and activities. b. These photographs may be posted on the club's official social media accounts and website and more. c. If you have concerns about your image being used in club-related photographs, please notify club officers in advance.
9. Privacy and Confidentiality:
a. Members must respect the privacy and confidentiality of fellow members and guest speakers. b. Sharing sensitive information from club meetings and events without consent is strictly prohibited.
10. Non-Discrimination:
a. The club promotes diversity and inclusivity and does not tolerate discrimination based on race, gender, age, sexual orientation, or any other factors.
11. Amendments to Rules:
a. The club constitution may be amended by a majority vote of executive board i.e (leadership board)
12. Compliance with University Policies:
a. Members are expected to adhere to all university policies and guidelines, including those related to student organizations.
13. Termination of Membership:
a. The club reserves the right to terminate the membership of any individual who consistently violates club rules or university policies. I understand that failure to comply with these rules may result in membership termination or the need to reapply for club membership in the following semester.
